Mansfield Pup Crawl

  • Betsy Paterson Square 2 Dog Lane Storrs, CT 06268 (map)

The Mansfield Downtown Partnership invites residents and visitors to the Mansfield Pup Crawl on Saturday, October 5. Participants and their four-legged friends will meet on Betsy Paterson Square (2 Dog Lane, Storrs) at 9:30 AM for a guided walk through Downtown Storrs. This event is free and open to the public.

The walk will be approximately 1.5 miles, will begin and end at Betsy Paterson Square, and will take participants through Downtown Storrs and into the Albert E. Moss Sanctuary, a wooded preserve owned by the Town of Mansfield. Registration, which is free but required, will begin at 9:30 AM. The walk will begin once everyone is signed in.

The Partnership welcomes well-behaved dogs who are comfortable being in a setting with many people and other dogs. All dogs must be leashed and up-to-date with their shots. We ask owners to be prepared to clean-up after their dog(s) as needed.

The Mansfield Pup Crawl will take place rain or shine and is a part of The Last Green Valley’s Walktober.

Parking is available in the Downtown Storrs Parking Garage, which is free for the first two hours and $1 per hour thereafter, with a daily maximum charge of $8. The walk from the garage to Betsy Paterson Square takes approximately 2 minutes.
