Friday Fun at The Flower Pot

Jeff and Karen from Woodward Greenhouses are coming to The Flower Pot on Friday, September 27th and we are going to put on aprons and gloves and play in the mud! Hypertufa is a mix of peat moss, Portland cement and perlite, which when combined makes a light weight, weatherproof, stone look container. Jeff and Karen provide all the materials (including the gloves and aprons). You will build your own beautiful container that is perfect for succulents. Then we will come back in on Friday, October 4th at 6pm and have another fun evening creating a beautiful planter. You will be able select from a large assortment of beautiful succulents and create your own unique combinations. Jeff and Karen will give tips on how to best care for your new planter and answer any other plant related questions.

PARKING: Parking is available in the Downtown Storrs Parking Garage (33 Royce Circle), which is FREE for the first 2 hours, then just $1/hour. The Downtown Storrs Parking Garage is about a 1-3 minute walk to The Flower Pot (from the main entrance, 3 minutes; from the north stairs entrance, 1 minute).
