Songfest
UConn Voice & Opera presents a Songfest of arias and art song in various languages each semester. Performers are drawn from the University of Connecticut's talented pool of voice students. Each Songfest features a rotating theme in the fall and The Great American Songbook in the spring. Among others, past themes include Oktoberliederfest, a Songfest of entirely German lieder, Women's Words featuring art songs inspired by female poets, and I Hear Music in the Air!, a celebration of African-American music.
