Opening Reception for the 2026 MFA Exhibition

Celebrate emerging artists in the opening reception of the 2026 Studio Art + Digital Media & Design Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition.

This annual exhibition highlights new work by graduating students in the Studio Art and Digital Media & Design Master of Fine Arts programs at the University of Connecticut.

Fault Lines showcases five artists in the Master of Fine Arts program in Studio Art at the University of Connecticut. The exhibition features work across animation, book arts, drawing, installation, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Exhibiting artists are Becky Bailey, Ben Kue, Erick Maldonado, Sammy Wood, and Sonja Langford.

Remnants is a collection of five digital archives that explore themes of memory, displacement, grief, and survival through digital storytelling. The exhibition brings together animation, film, game, and web-based experiences created by Digital Media and Design MFA candidates Evgeniia Rein, Hongchan Lee, Maham Waqar, Sabrina Claman, and Yuna Kim.
