Celebrate Earth Day

with the Town of Mansfield

The Town of Mansfield is making plans to celebrate spring and Earth Day with a full array of free special events and educational opportunities.

Mansfield Community Center will be the hub of activity on Saturday, April 25, but special activities will also take place at the Mansfield Public Library, and tours of the net-zero aspects of Mansfield Elementary School along with the Grade 4

Eco-Action Team! Litter pick-up, in cooperation with the University of Connecticut’s Office of Sustainability coordinating with student groups, will also be a feature of the weekend. The Parks and Recreation Department is also organizing the Town-Wide Tag Sale so useful items can be repurposed by friends and neighbors rather than disposed. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle!
