UConn Dance Company is a student-led, student-choreographed undergraduate dance ensemble at the University of Connecticut, established in 2008. The company returns to Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts on April 28 for its Spring Showcase, featuring 11 original works and a culminating finale. The program highlights a dynamic range of styles, including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and hip-hop. Composed of nearly 50 dedicated dancers, UDC has spent the semester crafting an evening that celebrates artistry, collaboration, and a deep passion for dance.
